Gary Butler
Programs Manager
|
Gary is the Programs Manager at South West NRM. He is responsible
for obtaining funding to assist landholder groups and individuals
to implement projects that deliver sustainable natural resource
management. He has extensive and varied experience in a
number of fields including feral animal control, cattle industry
and cotton farming. Gary is the owner/manager of a cattle
property.

Ric Newson
Information Manager
|
Ric’s role is to implement and co-ordinate Resource Condition
Monitoring on a Regional and Project scale. He also supervises GIS
and IT staff as well managing long term
projects such as the Information Hub and running
the water quality testing QA & QC program for
community water testing . Ric has 15 years experience in IT
and 5 years GIS . Ric has a B. App. Science in Medical
Laboratory Science

Mick McNiven
Aboriginal NRM Support Officer
|
Mick’s position works with Aboriginal people in the region
regarding natural resource management. Mick has 15 years
experience working with native title, most recently as a staff
member of the Queensland South Representative Body Aboriginal
Corporation. Originally from the Cunnamulla region, Mick is a
member of the Budjiti tribe.

Deborah Atkinson
|
Deborah assists the Business Manager in maintaining company
financial records in MYOB.

Julie Frousheger
Biodiversity Officer
|
Julie's position provides support for biodiversity management
activities for landholders and natural resource management officers
within the South West NRM region.

Martin Wingett
GIS Officer
|
Martin’s role is to maintain and supervise IT equipment and
standardise usage, as well as produce maps for staff and
stakeholders as required for various programs and projects

Venessa Moore
Public Relations Officer - Education
|
Venessa's role is to produce educational resources for staff
use both within the organisation and for use in external
activities. She works with the other Public Relations
Officers in the development, coordination and delivery of natural
resource management promotional strategies.

Sam Thomas
Public Relations Officer - IT Communications
|
Sam is undertaking his Cert III in information technology and
learning GIS skills as part of our capacity building and staff
retention program. He works with the other Public Relations
Officers in the development, coordination and delivery of natural
resource management promotional strategies.

Jodie Dollery
Contracts Officer
|
Jodie works with the cadets employed by South West NRM's Cadetship
Scheme. She also liaises with landholders for Futurescapes
and Planscapes applications and organises South West NRM's
contracts.

Hayley Bannerman
Administration Officer
|
Hayley is our front office Administration Officer . She is the
smiling face to greet you when you come to the office and the
helpful voice to answer your calls. Hayley also co-ordinates staff
travel and accomodation as well as the catering for in house
events.

Meg Pearson
Trainee Administration Officer
|
Meg is a school-based trainee, her role assists the Administration
Officers with answering general enquiries, coordinating
correspondence, managing the resource library and providing
administrative support to other South West NRM staff.
